Terms of Service
Effective July 31, 2026
These terms govern your use of Conjoint ("we," "us," or "our") and the services we provide at conjoint.io. By purchasing or using a study, you agree to these terms.
What we do
Conjoint provides per-study creative testing research. You submit creative — book covers, ad copy, thumbnails, icons, and similar assets — and we run a conjoint analysis study with real respondents, then deliver an element-level insights report showing which parts of your creative drove preference.
Turnaround
Studies are typically delivered within the turnaround window stated at the time of purchase (generally 24–48 hours after payment and study setup are complete). Turnaround times are estimates based on typical respondent recruitment speed, not guarantees.
Refunds
If we're unable to field your study — for example, we can't recruit enough qualified respondents — we'll issue a full refund. If you believe your study wasn't delivered as described, contact us at [email protected] and we'll work it out with you.
No guaranteed outcomes
Conjoint studies produce research insights: data about which creative elements respondents preferred and why. We don't guarantee any specific business outcome — such as sales, click-through rates, or conversions — as a result of using our insights. What you do with the results is up to you.
Your creative, your rights
You retain all rights to the creative assets you upload for testing. We don't claim ownership of your book covers, ad copy, screenshots, or any other materials you submit. We may use anonymized, aggregated learnings from studies (for example, "headlines with numbers outperformed headlines without them by X%") to improve our methodology and inform general content we publish, but never in a way that identifies you or your specific creative.
Acceptable use
Don't submit creative that is illegal, infringes on someone else's rights, or is intended to mislead or harm respondents. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a study that violates this.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Conjoint is limited to the amount you paid us for the study giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
If we make meaningful changes to these terms, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
